SCBWI 101 zoom session run by SCBWI Australia West and open to SCBWI Australia East & NZ

SCBWI 101 Event: an invitation

How to go about getting published can be confusing for first time authors and illustrators.

You are invited to SCBWI 101, where you will hear about the many varied paths to publication, meet some awesome people and leave with a better understanding of the industry.

What we'll cover:

  • Prepublication and steps you can take to give yourself the best possible chance.

  • Traditional, Vanity and Self-Publishing – the pros and cons of each.

  • Dos and Don’ts of the submission process.

  • Hear from panellists Cristy Burne, Lorraine Horsley and Amber Moffat, about their publication experiences.
