of the world's favourites. The exhibition is also travelling to Japan.
This was thanks to Gosford librarian Claire Stuckey, who recently gave a paper at the International Librarians Conference (IFLA) in France.
Children's Laureate Jackie French's Pete the Sheep was also included.
Yet another win for that timeless hippo - congrats again Hazel!
Yvonne Low wins art prize
Congrats to Yvonne Low, whose beautiful mixed media painting recently won the
Art on Loftus Most Outstanding - Open Award
The piece is entitled 'Water - quiet ripples catch a shaft of light.'
Judge Lyndsey Hatchwell described it as a 'lovely flowing composition with skilled use of mixed media'
Yvonne says her piece was 'inspired by the beautiful Blue Mountains - I wanted to capture the play of light on water in a valley glen. I tried some completely different techniques using acrylic and pastels alongside my favourite watercolours.
Her prize was $1,000. Congrats again Yvonne!
